Timing and Organization

As they say, timing is everything, this business is no exception. This topic is twofold.

As soon as you receive a customer request, contact the customer. Do not let the request sit.

This is an internet world, customer want answers now, not tomorrow. You need to contact the customer immediately and understand what the customer needs and recommend the service that best fit the customer.

The other timing is the customers service date. Some customers want to shop around and request rates many months early. You need to email only and not call. Calling is for customer who is planning to move in the next 4 months.

Customers who are moving the same month are very pressured, a good call and customer service, and the customer is yours.

An important skill you will need to have is organization skills. You must keep track of who your talking to, who you need to call back, who is calling you, and who you need to call.

Keeping record of your hot leads, up coming moves, etc. is very important to the overall success of your employment. Following up with every customer will ensure a favorable odd that you will earn the business. Remember that if you not keeping track, following through, calling the customers, your competition will and is doing so all day every day. Make sure your business is organized.
