Sometimes the packing service is not included, the reason is very simple.
Every customer has unique requirements for packing; some customers do all the packing, some customer pack only partial. The packing service may be not included in the rate because every customer has different requirements. Though the movers always arrive ready to pack and wrap their entire home.
What you may recommend to your customers is to pack all there box able unbreakable items such as: Books, linens, books, toys, clothes. There items don’t get damages and very easy to pack. Also when the customer packs these items, he/she will go through a process of sorting what they want and what they don’t want, this will save their time and money.
Then allow all the movers to pack all the breakable items and large furniture.
Some customers pack there entire home and other wants the company to pack everything. This is the reason why some companies do not include the packing charges.
The estimated cost for packing is approximately $1.25 per cubic feet. This includes the labor, time and materials.
This is an estimated cost, if the customer has many fragile items then naturally the packing charges will increase, if they have only basic items then it will remain in line with the $1.25 per cubic feet.
